  This DVD sees the return, regeneration and death of the master all in three episodes, it also throws Captian Jack Harness back into and out of the doctor life as in an attempt to shake Jack off the exterior of the Tardis leads to the end of the universe where the kind professor Yana is trying to save the last of the humans from the end of the universe by taking them to utopia.
  John Barrowman provides some comedy in utopia wich was one of the darkest episodes of the revived series with his constant flirting.
  David Tennant's performence when he finds out that professor is a time lord is great and John Simm's version of the master although has some great acting the character is far too funny and generally not evil for the master while Derek Jacobi porvides a darker more traditional Master.
  The Sound of drums see's David Tennant and John Barrowman on top form as the doctor is stripped of his tardis and is forced into hiding in a abandoned and bleak warehouse.
  By the end of the episode the doctor is aged and thousands of toflaca descend on the earth everything is up to the Martha Jones
  Last of the time lords takes a very predictable turn by fast forwarding to a year later with the master planning of universal domination with complete control of the earth, and Jack chained up, and the doctor aged and hopeless.
  The thrilling ending see's both John simm and David Tennant giving brilliant emotional preforences as the doctor revives himself by tuning himself into the archangel network and getting every one to say one word, doctor.
