The English-language debut of French director Kim Chapiron, this gritty drama is set in an American young offenders' institution. A trio of juvenile delinquents - 16-year-old drug dealer Davis (Shane Kippel), 15-year-old car thief Angel (Mateo Morales) and 17-year-old Butch (Adam Butcher), who is convicted of assault - are sent to the Enola Vale Correctional Centre in Montana, run by case-hardened warden Goodyear (Lawrence Bayne). There, the three find themselves trapped in a flawed and corrupt judicial system in which bullying, violence, drug-taking and abuse of privileges are commonplace.
Three boys caught between youth and adulthood struggle to survive behind bars in this hard-hitting drama.
