Lesley Selander directs this 1950s drama starring Yvonne De Carlo and Raymond Burr. The film is set in Algiers, where the French colonial government are concerned about opposition to their rule from a rebellious Arab leader. They hatch a plan to send a French cabaret singer who has previously worked for them as a spy, Yvette (De Carlo), into the camp of the discontented Amir (Burr). Initially, Yvette works her charms, seducing the Amir and discovering his ambitious plans to seize control of the nation's oil fields. However, when the Amir discovers her true allegiances, Yvette's life is thrown into peril...
