James D'Arcy, Maria Valverde and Jack Davenport star in this war drama directed by Koldo Serra. Telling the story of a town that was relentlessly bombed during the Spanish Civil War, the film follows the journey of American journalist Henry (D'Arcy) who joins forces with local press officer Teresa (Valverde) as he vows to be the voice of a town shrouded in political red tape and propaganda. When the Germans invade Guernica however, he finds himself biding by even more restrictions with the freedom of the press becoming a thing of the past.
