Good and evil do battle in this epic Russian tale of Witches, Vampires and Shape-Shifters.
If you"re a fan of fast paced action, don't mind reading subtitles and like unique special effects then this IS the film for you!
If you hate all of the above, you are better off looking elsewhere.
The film is a great success and its cult popularity has grown and grown and with the release of the much anticipated sequel Day Watch its popularity ever increases.
When I first saw this film I was amazed that I had never heard of it before the special effects are unique and at the same time breathtaking.
The dialogue (All though in Russian with English subtitles) is excellent showing great script writing.
This film is one of the first foreign films I watched, never being a fan of subtitled films, but now I am addicted to them.
If you love foreign films, and buy one this month, buy Night Watch, if you buy two this month Buy Night Watch and Day Watch.
And even if you are not too sure about Foreign Films, give this one a chance and i'm sure you won't regret it.
