Arnold Vosloo stars in the title role of this fantasy action adventure. The feature follows Homer (Randal Edwards) as he journeys back to Ithaca, as part of Odysseus (Arnold Vosloo)'s crew, after the end of the Trojan War. When the warriors become lost and find themselves under attack from winged creatures, they are forced to seek refuge on a dangerous, fabled island. But after encountering more perils on the mysterious island and an inviting female stranger (Stefanie von Pfetten), the crew go in search of a mystical sword sealed by the gods, known as the Hellfire Cross, to help them survive.
