A young warrior searches for the sister he thought was dead in this sci-fi TV pilot based on the popular video game franchise. 25 years after his father Alec (Robert Patrick) battled to free Mars colonists from their Earth Defense Force (EDF) oppressors and his sister Lyra (Tamzin Merchant) was abducted by rival militant group, the Maruaders, Red Faction resistance lieutenant Jake Mason (Brian J. Smith) searches the remains of an EDF Dreadnought that has fallen to Mars from orbit. After an encounter with a group of Maruaders, one of which he believes to be Lyra, Jake, against the wishes of his father, embarks on a hazardous mission deep into Marauder territory to free his long lost sister.
