Maureen O'Hara stars in this western as Kate Maxwell, a saloon proprietor who is torn between suave and sophisticated businessman Jim Averell (William Bishop) and down-to-earth local sheriff Stan Blaine (Alex Nicol). What she doesn't know is that Averell is using her saloon as a front for rustled beef, and when a war breaks out between the cattle barons and the settlers, Kate and Stan find themselves fighting against the odds to set everything straight.
