Rudyard Kipling's classic story of espionage set in colonial India. Kim (Ravi Sheth) is a happy-go-lucky urchin who lives on the streets of Lahore in the 1890s and is known for his kind heart and ability to survive on his wits. The young man's many adventures see him meet up with a horse trader (Bryan Brown) who is in fact a British agent, attempt to infiltrate the ranks of some Czarist agitators, and befriend a travelling Buddhist Lama (Peter O'Toole).
