14-year-old Walter (Haley Joel Osment) doesn't much fancy spending the summer with his two eccentric great uncles on their farm in rural Texas. Hub (Robert Duvall) and Garth (Michael Caine) are rumoured to have wild and wooly pasts, and once Walter starts asking a few questions, they find themselves looking for some new adventures.
