Lavish romantic drama set against the backdrop of the Russian civil war. Konstantin Khabenskiy stars as Admiral Kolchak, a decorated war hero and family man who falls uncontrollably in love his friend's wife, poet Anna Timiryova (Elizaveta Boyarskaya). Kolchak and Anna initially try to resist their mutual passion and are separated in the chaos caused as the revolution gains ground, but sparks fly when they are eventually reunited in Siberia, where Kolchak is fighting the Bolsheviks on the banks of the Ushakovka River.
