A group of German POWs have escaped from a camp in Scotland and Captain Connor has been assigned to stop them leaving the country. The camp commander is unable to control the other prisoners. However, Captain Connor's ruthless approach seems to quell the riots for the moment, causing animosity with the camp Commander.
