The experienced geologist Kristian Eikfjord has accepted a job offer out of town. He is getting ready to move from the city of Geiranger with his family, when he and his colleagues measure small geological changes in the underground. Kristian gets worried and his worst nightmare is about to come true, when the alarm goes off and the disaster is inevitable. With less than 10 minutes to react, it becomes a race against time in order to save as many as possible including his own family.

Roar Uthaug directs this Norwegian disaster drama starring Kristoffer Joner and Thomas Bo Larsen. When a huge rockslide occurs just outside the sleepy, tourist village of Geiranger the rocks tumbling into the fjord below causes an 80-metre tsunami to head right for the villagers. As they prepare to move out of Geiranger with their two kids, geologist Kristian Eikfjord (Joner) and his wife Idun (Ane Dahl Torp) find themselves with ten minutes to evacuate their home before the imminent disaster strikes. The family and their fellow villagers flee to the safety of the nearby mountains while Kristian, who anticipated the landslide, tries to protect his family as best he can.
