Film-noir thriller in which a young boy witnesses a murder and becomes the killers' next target. Nine-year-old Tommy (Bobby Driscoll) is prone to telling tall tales so when he tells his parents that he has seen his neighbours, Joe and Jean Kellerson (Paul Stewart and Ruth Roman) killing a man, they don't believe him.
