Class distinction exists in most countries but that has never stopped Cinderella from meeting her Prince. The universal appeal of rich-man-falling-for-working-class-girl is the theme of this hit comedy series starring Lorraine Chase and John Standing - leads whose own backgrounds mirror those of their characters. The Other 'Arf was conceived by Terence Howard (who had worked on the celebrated Campari ad campaign which launched the TV career of model Lorraine Chase) and developed by legendary comedy writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais (Porridge Auf Wiedersehen Pet); originally screened in 1980 this first series also stars Patricia Hodge Natalie Forbes and in an early TV appearance Caroline Quentin. Sir Galahad comes in many guises and in the case of beautiful model Lorraine Watts he's in the form of Charles Latimer a Tory MP who saves her from the unwelcome attentions of a lecherous photographer. While Charles is an aristocrat and Lorraine is a Cockney born and bred the difference in their social stations fails to put the brake on their express dash into romance... although it promises to be a bumpy journey!

Legends to many, their fame was built on a fearsome reputation and almost mythical celebrity-like status, but who were the real Kray twins? On the surface, they were mixing with celebrities and Lords but behind closed doors they were leading sordid personal lives and orchestrating heinous crimes. Public opinion was split but how were the twins viewed by their contemporaries? This is the inside story of the Krays, told by the people who stood by their side for all those years. Featuring authentic audio recordings of Reggie Kray from prison. Interviews with the twins closest allies and bitter rivals, including some of the final interviews with Frank Fraser, Albert Donoghue, Lenny Hamilton and Billy Frost all of whom are no longer alive. New revelations about the twins private lives from close friends of the family. No fluff, no reconstructions, no actors. Narrated by Martin Kemp, who played Reggie to critical acclaim in the 1990 movie The Krays and is currently enjoying renewed popularity as a judge on the BBC s Let It Shine. The story of the Krays is as popular now as it ever was. Younger generations were introduced to them through the movie Legend in 2015 and are now keen to learn the real facts.

Although probably best remembered for the controversial and groundbreaking dramas Scum, Made in Britain and The Firm, the breadth of Alan Clarke's radical, political, innovative, inspirational work, along with his influence on generations of filmmakers, such as Gus Van Sant, Paul Greengrass, Andrea Arnold, Harmony Korine, Clio Barnard, Shane Meadows, should see him rightly regarded as one of Britain's greatest ever filmmaking talents. This long-overdue box set brings together all of the surviving stand-alone BBC TV dramas that Alan Clarke directed between 1969- 1977, including such neglected classics as Horace, Penda's Fen, Diane and Funny Farm, as well as the infamous Scum, which was banned for 14 years. Extensive extras include David Leland introductions, extracts from BBC discussion show Tonight, newly-produced documentaries and audio commentaries and the BBC Arena documentary When is a Play Not a Play?

The rustle of sagebrush and hot desert sands; pounding cattle hooves and rifle-shot echo. In a time when the West was still wild a man came to Medicine Bow Wyoming and they called him The Virginian. Tackling rustlers land-grabbers escaped convicts con men corrupt railroaders and even a spinster-lady bank clerk with a cool head for crime The Virginian was fair-minded fast-drawing and not afraid to stand up for his friends in a place where slight disagreement could lead to sudden death. Filmed entirely in colour The Virginian was based on one of the first great novels of the American West Owen Wister's 1902 book of the same name. Stars included Lee J. Cobb as Judge Garth owner of the Shiloh Ranch and James Drury in the title role as his foreman with ranch hands Trampas played by Doug McClure and Steve Hill played by Gary Clarke.
