The natural history museum is closed for refurbishment, so the exhibits are moved to The Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC, the world's largest museum. Guard Larry goes with the exhibits, including favourites from the last film; Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Octavius (Steve Coogan) and Jedediah (Owen Wilson), but finds it difficult to keep everything under control when some ancient baddies run riot in the museum. Larry must make a stand in the historical melting pot of the Smithsonian and save his friends from a horrible fate.This is a great high-octane family movie with some superb performances and a quick pace that will have you on the edge of your seat.
