This mud- splattered sequel is a bright and cheerful film, perfect to watch as a family. It follows a similar plot to its hugely-popular predecessor, but this time the hideous-looking governess is in rural England during the World War 2 Blitz, trying to help a whole new wayward family back onto the right path.

As with the first film, one parent is absent, this time the father Rory who's away fighting at war. The mother, Isabel, is left to look after her three squabbling children - Norman, Megsie and little Vincent, and also her sister's spoilt horrors, Cyril and Celia, who've been sent to the countryside where it's thought to be safe.

With the cover story that she's been sent by the government, Nanny McPhee enters the chaos as the ugly, moley and craggy-toothed governess in desperate need of Frizz-Ease. But as the mischievous children learn the five lessons she presents them with, she loses her menacing looks and emerges fresh-faced- presenting the moral that anyone who is loved is always beautiful!

Watch out for the group of unruly CGI piglets, who delight audiences with a bit of synchronised swimming - priceless!
