Directed by Peter Jackson and starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Brody, Colin Hanks and Thomas Kretschmann, it tells the story of a film director, Jack Driscoll, and his crew who go to a mysterious island to shoot their movie, but soon they shockingly discover that the island beast, that they believed to be a myth, actually exists. The crew run into more trouble when the island natives, kidnap their leading lady, Ann Darrow, to sacrifice to the giant gorilla. Jack who has fallen for Ann and the crew bravely enter the jungle to rescue her and capture the beast.
