What a day. What a match. Obafemi Martins dramatic 89th minute winner secured Blues a first ever victory in a major Wembley final and sent over 30 000 Brummies inside the famous stadium absolutely delirious. It was a game full of drama from the first to the last. Lee Bowyer brought down inside the box within two minutes but no penalty or red card for Arsenal keeper Szczesny just an incorrectly raised offside flag that could have been so costly. Blues were hungry desperate for success and giant striker Nikola Zigic produced a deft flick header to give them the lead. Van Persie equalised before the break and a tense second half seemed certain to end deadlocked meaning extra time and perhaps penalties. But six minutes after coming on as a substitute Martins was in the right place at the right time to capitalise on Arsenal indecision and score the easiest but the most important goal of his career. Its been a long time coming but it was well worth the wait to see Stephen Carr lift the famous three-handled trophy that not only provides a passage to European football but says Alex McLeish's Blues are the 2011 Carling Cup winners!

A record-breaking fifth promotion through the play-offs for the Seasiders secured an immediate return to League One, as Gary Bowyer's side beat Exeter City in a nerve-jangling 90 minutes at Wembley Stadium. Brad Potts brilliant early strike was cancelled out just before the break, but the stretching Mark Cullen turned the ball home midway through the second half to edge Pool back in front. The men in tangerine then held firm and the final whistle sparked jubilation both on and off the pitch. Enjoy the whole game and all the celebrations again as, 25 years on since the first play-off final success against Scunthorpe United at the old Wembley, this new-look Blackpool took a giant step on the march back up the Football League. I love the smell of orange crush at the Molineux. Smells like... victory. Agent orange, your work is done.Appropriately enough, this result was five years in the making, five since we embraced our inner throstle under Tony Mowbray, five since he, Roberto Di Matteo and Roy Hodgson returned Albion to our footballing roots, five where Wolves have been toiling in more utilitarian style. Two days before St Valentine's Day, we unleashed an early massacre and left Wolves trampled underfoot. The Black Country proved its supremacy over the forces of Staffordshire once more and left feeling the most toxic emotion you can ever bestow on your local rivals. Pity. The match in full with original commentary and post match interviews
Martin O'Neill enjoyed unequalled success as the manager of Leicester City and in his last great triumph at the club steered them into their third League Cup Final in four years. Matt Elliott's double-header won the day against Tranmere Rovers and the bargain buy from Oxford United went on to lift the trophy after a man-of-the-match performance. It was history in the making as Leicester became the last team to win the trophy under the twin towers at Wembley and the first team to collect a major trophy in the 21st century. This DVD features the whole 90 minutes of a momentous afternoon when O'Neill confirmed his status as one of the brightest managers of his generation and Leicester provided more silver service for their faithful fans.
When Leicester City headed to Wembley for the 1997 League Cup Final, over 30 years had gone by since their last major trophy. A nail-biting match against Middlesbrough ended in a 1-1 draw, and all roads led to Hillsborough for the replay 10 days later. Walsh, Keller and Kamark provided the steel in Sheffield, as the Foxes took Bryan Robson's expensively assembled squad into extra-time, when Steve Claridge once again became the hero. Martin O'Neill was establishing one of the most consistent sides in the top flight of English football, and here on DVD is the entire 120 minutes of a wonderful Wednesday night when Leicester lifted the trophy for the second time. City would become the League Cup Kings over the next few years, and this is where it all began
What a day. What a story. Newly promoted Blackpool head to Anfield on the back of maulings at Emirates Stadium and Stamford Bridge with the same outcome expected and predicted by many. But the Seasiders proved what a good team they are. Right from the start they dominated the play creating chances and not looking out of place in the Anfield sunshine. By half time they were 2-0 up. Charlie Adam's penalty and Luke Varney's smart finish saw the travelling tangerine army go beserk. Those on the Kop were just as animated but for completely different reasons. The second half brought pressure but Blackpool coped well with everything the Reds could throw at them to end victorious. It was a day no Blackpool fan will ever forget. The chants of We are Premier League never so true. Relive the whole game again in full with post match interviews as Ollie's tangerine dream just gets better and better.

The 2001 Division Three Play-Off Final in full with all the post match celebrations and interviews as Blackpool from being relegation candidates early in the season confirm their immediate return to the third tier of English football with victory at the Millennium Stadium. Steve McMahon's side were in 23rd place at one point in September and subsequently lost 7-0 to Barnet in addition to being knocked out of the FA Cup by non-league Yeovil. But steadily they climbed the table. A prolific strike partnership between John Murphy and Brett Ormerod steered them upwards aided by the guile of Paul Simpson and the enthusiasm of Richie Wellens. In Cardiff they were behind within the first minute but twice the Seasiders came back to level matters before securing a 4-2 win the first step on their accent up the league ladder.
