Paul Henreid and Michèle Morgan star in this 1940s romantic drama set in Nazi-occupied Paris during the Second World War. After being shot down, five RAF pilots head to Paris where they hope to organise their passage home. Along the way Squadron Leader Paul Lavallier (Henreid) encounters barmaid Joan (Morgan) and they soon fall for each other. With the Gestapo out to arrest Paul and his men, Joan risks her life to help them escape.
