Television miniseries based on the western novel by Larry McMurtry. Woodrow Call (James Garner) is a former US Ranger who has set himself up as a bounty hunter and is hired by a nervous rail baron to track down Joey Garza (Alexis Cruz), a ruthless young killer who murders his victims from a distance using a sniper rifle.
