All seven episodes from the fourth series of the TV show about the amiable, head-changing scarecrow. 'Muvver's Day' finds Worzel (Jon Pertwee) in search of his mother, Sarah Pigswill (Beryl Reid). In 'The Golden Hind' Worzel makes friends with naval figurehead Jolly Jack (Bernard Cribbens), but the friendship heads into difficult waters when Aunt Sally (Una Stubbs) shows signs of falling for the salty seadog. 'Will the Real Aunt Sally...' has Worzel confused when Aunt Sally agrees to marry him; could it really be her, or is it another acting in her place? 'The Jumbly Sale' sees Worzel overcome with remorse when he pulls off one of his beloved's legs. In 'The Return of Dolly Clothes-Peg' Worzel has to choose between the two ladies in his life, but when one of them comes bearing a cake, it seems like the odds might be unfairly stacked. 'Worzel in Revolt' finds Worzel in possession of a new head, one specially designed to keep Aunt Sally in her place. Finally, 'Worzel's Birthday' has John (Jeremy Austin) and Sue (Charlotte Coleman) arrange a party in honour of Worzel's bestest birthday.
